Grandville Wildlife Tip: I have had nuisance wildlife walk across a ten-foot suburban neighborhood road before I could make identification and bring the sights to bear, and yet at times my reaction has been so fast that the pest critter seemed to move in slow motion. I recall one such instance when I sighted a conflict animal just as its front feet were leaving the ground as it prepared to jump. At that time, I had one aimed at its shoulder and I squeezed off an effort to remove a pest animal. The pest critter jumped as the rear legs bent and then it bounded into the air and, before I could reload, it had gained cover.
