Eden Prairie Wildlife Tip: We are allowed only one nuisance wildlife in any time of year, and I had mine, yet since there were three, I wanted one of the others to get the doe. When they arrived, I could see that as far is they were concerned, the trap was over. All their attention was centered on the dead pest animal with no thought of a living raccoon which had left a track that we knew was fresh, a track that would have been irresistible earlier in the day. The excitement of nuisance wildlife removing unwanted wildlife affects different people in different ways; and, in this case, the sight of a dead nuisance wildlife clouded the thinking of a man who was ordinarily a very efficient nuisance wildlife control professional. If, for any reason, it should be necessary to leave the pest critter in the suburban neighborhood for any length of time, overnight or longer, it should be hung up and not left on the ground. It is almost impossible for one man to hang a sizable nuisance wildlife without the aid of some mechanical device and the simplest of these, which may be found in the suburban neighborhood. Three poles, not less than twelve feet long, should be cut. Tie two of these poles together at the ends, then tie these to the pest critter. Spread the opposite ends of these poles so that they are six or eight feet apart and use the third pole to raise the pest critter as far as possible.
