Madison County Wildlife Tip: I mentally laid out a course they would follow and backtracked until I was hidden by trees, then ran, bent double, as fast as I could without making undated commotion to a point of neighborhood which would give me vantage overlooking the pest critter's route, within yards of where they would likely pass. Just as I slipped into the wedge of neighborhood, one of the tail-end nuisance wildlife in the procession caught the unnatural movement. The raccoon snorted, alarmed. It would seem logical that a noise from behind would have pushed the pest critter ahead, along the same route they were following.
