Fort Johnson Wildlife Tip: Some years ago, a nuisance wildlife control professional came in to the landowner's house on a ranch he was removing unwanted wildlife and announced that he had wounded a conflict animal, but he couldn't find anything but some scattered hair, no blood. I was visiting with the rancher at the time, so I accompanied him to look-see around the vicinity. We found the spot where the pest critter was standing when hit, all right, and tracks where it had crashed off into the neighborhood. Painstakingly we followed the tracks. Perhaps 10 feet farther we came to a pool of blood which looked as if it had been poured from a pest animalet.
