Niagara County Wildlife Tip: I looked around just in time to see a nice pest animal scrambling through a dry wash, kicking rocks as he jumped in and out. He was walking directly away from me as I put the sight on his back, just this side of the shoulder, and touched 'er off. The animal control tool struck fair just where I was aiming, angled down through the chest cavity, and exited in front of the shoulders. The pest animal was dead before he hit the ground. That effort to remove a pest animal abruptly terminated my removing unwanted wildlife for the day, but all the other pest control operators I talked with later remarked about the unusual nuisance wildlife movement, right on through the warm midday hours, when normally the animals would be lost in the cover.
