It is capable of spraying up to six times in succession. After a full discharge, it will take up to ten days to replenish the fluid supply. They are nocturnal animals meaning that they are active and feeding during the night hours. During the day, they will spend their time hiding in their homes. They possess a slow and deliberate behavior which makes them confident and ready to stand their ground when defending themselves against other animals.
