Armadillo prefer living inside shady places, woodlands, brush, dense areas, and even close to creeks and rivers. This animal regards soil as a factor when it comes to choose their habitat. They love loamy or sandy as well as porous and lose soils easy to make their burrows. This animal prefers to live in places without hot or cold temperature. Also, the animal prefers to inhabit places with crevices and cracks. Rocky places are also food choice for them.
Armadillo diet and behavior
Armadillo usually feed on insects, small amphibians, insect larvae, scorpions, earthworms, spiders and other invertebrate. They also love to feed on eggs, lizard, frogs, snakes and other animals around.
